Nice, Grainger. I had a professor of psychology who was not a fan of SSRIs and he said thinking that anxiety and depression require SSRIs is like thinking that headaches are caused by lack of aspirin.
I got on SSRIs when my late wife was dying, and they sure seemed to help. Many years later, (~18 months ago), I was feeling great and I tapered off the SSRIs until I stopped them altogether. And that was fine.
My functional med Dr has said many times that proteins are vital - they are required to make the neurotransmitters AND they are the taxis in our bloodstreams that carry everything around - the hormones, neurotransmitters, minerals, etc. He often is recommending us to eat more protein.

Does that ring true to you?
Yes. That’s good.
I will try saffron and omega 3. I already do the other stuff. Thanks.

That’s awesome. I’d say you got lucky. Most of the detoxes from SSRIs I have seen mimic alcohol detox.
You are fortunate. Even with a taper, some have a rough go coming off SSRIs.
Thanks for the post. Nice work here!
