When people like this walk-in, they usually aren’t in a great place. However, they are in a great place to change their lives. Befriend them, invite them, welcome them. They are often about to turn their life around and all they need is a friendly welcome and some acceptance. And probably an ear to listen.
And this is exactly what someone did for me once. As she put it, she "showed me Jesus with skin on". Her genuine love, compassion, and sincerity will never be forgotten.
What ought be seen (realized) is the miracle of a human soul seeking and being ready to listen to God's Holy Spirit.
And thus she reminds us to set aside our doctrine, religious routine and self-righteousness... and to walk with her towards God's holiness.
